Rafy Oquando isn’t just a tattoo artist—he’s a lifer in the body mod game with over 25 years of ink and piercing experience. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, he started slinging ink in the late ’90s, back when tattoos were still underground and far from accepted. He learned the craft at El Indio, the island’s first pro tattoo shop, grinding alongside global artists who lit the fire that still fuels him today.

Now repping Florida, Rafy’s known for bold lines, smooth shading, and custom pieces that actually mean something. His style pulls heavy from tribal, Taíno, and Polynesian traditions—usually freehanded, always original. If it doesn’t hit hard or stand out, it’s not his style.

Outside the studio, he’s either painting, carving wood, or plotting the next killer design.
