Orlando Tattoo Artist Norman Legro

Norman Legro

Tattoo Artist

From a very young age, Norman was drawn to art. Growing up in a traditional family, he watched his father paint with oils on canvas, work with charcoal, pastels, and experiment with various painting techniques. That great man became his inspiration, guiding him toward his own artistic journey.

Norman’s interest in tattooing sparked when he discovered tattoo magazines, where he admired the vibrant designs of artists like Eric Pigors and Jesse Smith, as well as the intricate black-and-grey work of Victor Portugal, Bob Tyrrell, and Paul Booth. He also developed a deep appreciation for minimalist fine-line tattoos. Over time, his love for all tattoo styles grew, and he took pleasure in tattooing each one, regardless of color, size, or complexity. For Norman, every tattoo was more than just ink on skin—it was a connection to the universe, a bond with the person entrusting him with their stories, dreams, and passions.

With 16 years of experience in the industry, Norman has built a life he loves, fulfilling his dreams through tattooing. Fame and recognition were never his goals; instead, he simply sought to enjoy the process, always supported by his family. He spent years working in South Florida, where he formed lasting friendships with people from different cultures and enriched his craft by learning new techniques. He often wondered how different his life would have been had he not followed his heart, but he firmly believed in the saying: Tattoo or die—once a tattoo artist, always a tattoo artist.

Now at 36, Norman shares his passion with his children, encouraging them to explore the arts of drawing and painting. If they choose to follow in his footsteps as tattoo artists, he hopes they find as much joy in it as he has. To him, art is the most profound expression of the soul, and what better way to carry one’s passions than through tattooed skin?
