Roy Gonzalez is a seasoned tattoo artist with over 17 years of experience bringing artwork to life on skin. Originally from The Bronx, New York, Roy’s journey into the world of tattooing began with a deep respect for the craft and a strong desire to master it. He got his start through a two year apprenticeship under a seasoned mentor, laying the foundation for the skilled and versatile artist he is today.
Roy launched his professional career in the vibrant tattoo scene of Kissimmee, Florida. Over the course of 9 years in the area, he honed his skills and developed a reputation for his precision, creativity and dedication to his craft. His time there marked a turning point as he began to truly excel and establish his signature style.
After leaving Kissimmee, Roy took his talents to Scratch The Surface, the original home of what would become Good Vibrations Ink. There, he continued to grow artistically and professionally, eventually deciding it was time to take the leap and open his own studio. He founded LD Tattooz, where he embraced the role of business owner while continuing to create high quality, impactful tattoos. He ran LD Tattooz for five successful years, balancing entrepreneurship with artistic expression.
Following his time as a studio owner, Roy chose to step back from the industry to focus on two important parts of his life: his son and his personal art. This time allowed him to reconnect with his creativity and recharge. Today, Roy is back doing what he loves at Good Vibrations Ink 2.
