Skyla Costello is a native of Orlando, Florida, who has been immersed in tattoo shop culture since childhood. Growing up around the industry, she developed a deep connection to body art that feels like an inseparable part of who she is. Influenced by her father, Skyla began exploring tattooing as a teenager and is a passion she continues to nurture alongside her primary career in body piercing.
She began her professional journey at just 17 years old, starting her apprenticeship as a body piercer at Best Tattoos. Skyla has since built a career that not only reflects her artistic talents but also her personal resilience. She takes great pride in her work and the healing space she creates for others.
Skyla believes in the unique beauty of every individual and sees her role as a body piercer as a way to enhance and celebrate that natural beauty. Her approach is rooted in kindness, gentleness, and love – values she holds close in every service she provides. For Skyla, piercing is more than a profession. It’s a calling to help others feel confident, comfortable and empowered in their own skin.
Skyla is now part of the team at Good Vibrations Ink 2, where she continues her craft with passion and purpose. She can be found at the shop’s 6550 International Drive location in Orlando, sharing her talent and positive energy with every client she meets.
Outside the shop, Skyla is deeply grounded in her faith and finds joy in homeschooling and spending quality time with her son. In her free moments, she enjoys music, writing, and creative expression, but nothing compares to the happiness she finds in simply playing with her little boy.
